This class is a solid group of mature men who study a quarterly Baptist circular. Full of wisdom and experience, these men are true mentors and examples of lives lived for Christ.
 
 
 
 
 
Adult Women (aka Minnie Stinnett Class) Teacher: Barbara Morris

Right side of Minnie Stinnett Chapel.

This class is a solid group of mature, fun-loving women who love to laugh! They are serious about studying God’s Word, though, and conscientious about taking care of their classmates. They welcome new members of all ages with open arms.
 
 
 
 

Faith Bible Teachers: Shirley Hunt & Jim Hooker

Educational space beneath the sanctuary.

This class is comprised of both men and women who study a quarterly lesson by LifeWay. Many couples choose to attend this class together, and the lessons offer an opportunity to have family devotions throughout the week in preparation for Sunday morning. What a way to strengthen your relationship while deepening your walk with Christ!

( An 8-year journey through the Bible beginning with Matthew. This series is designed so that a person may come in at any time and still be current.)
 

 

Adult A1 Teacher: Pastor Clyde M. Mawyer, Jr.

Educational space beneath sanctuary.
This is a mixed gender class, of twenty-somethings to senior adults. Teaching consists primarily of topical lessons anchored in the Bible, and requests from participants are welcomed.

Adult A2 Teacher: Randy Bixler

This is also a mixed gender, multi-age class open to all, focused on Bible Study.

Adult A3 Teacher: Linda Christopher

This too, is a class open to all, teaching pure Bible study, one book at a time, alternating between the Old and New Testaments.

Discipleship Class
 Teacher: Susan Mawyer
Educational space beneath sanctuary.
This class is a tiny close-knit group of ladies dedicated to serving God and maintaining accountability with friends. Lessons are topical in nature and frequently based on life-application.
Sharing Jesus Without Fear Teacher: Tommy Hunnicutt

This is a 13 week study with an evangelism emphasis.

Basic Christianity Teachers: Fred Cox, Kelly Holmes, Margaret Puckett

This is a small group format, 7 week class using the workbook, Survival Kit. The focus is on one’s Christian walk, whether a new Christian or a Christian who wants to go back to the basics for revitalization.


*Men’s Small Group Study
Teacher: Adam Wilburn
Educational space in Social Hall building.
This class is designed for Christian men desiring a deeper personal relationship with the Savior. Courses include such studies as Henry Blackaby’s The Man God Uses. Class size is limited to ten, and there is a small fee for the workbook. This is an excellent opportunity to focus on your Christian walk. (This study is not currently offered at this time)

 

*Women’s Small Group Studies (aka Titus Sisters) Teachers: Robin Witt, April Bailey, Ivetta Campbell, Mary Ann Wilburn & Susan Massie.

Educational space in Social Hall building.

This class is for women of any age. It allows women the chance to be in a small group setting where you can get to know each other, share, pray for one another, and grow closer to the Lord. The goal is to encourage women to grow in their faith and find new sisters in Christ. There are three classes which are 11-week studies of Donna Partow’s Becoming a Vessel God Can Use, Walking in Total God-Confidence and Standing Firm. They run alternately and neither is a prerequisite for the other. There is a small fee for each workbook and class size is limited to 10.

*Young Marrieds Teacher: Betty Allen

Educational space beneath sanctuary.

This class is designed for married couples.

(Sept. 2009 - Currently they are studying Hedges: Loving Your Marriage Enough to Protect It by Jerry Jenkins.) 

 

 

*Lessons may vary, but Clifford is committed to offering studies that introduce and promote small-group interaction. Both a men’s and a women’s section should always be available.
